My girlfriend, Cathy Bennett of Groovy Goldendoodles, and I started talking about partnering on a podcast this year, sharing our bi-coastal (sort of) chats with like-minded dog people and we finally sat down and recorded our first episode this weekend and I'm excited to share it with you.

Keeping Dogs Cool in the Summer

This summer is a beast! With a stream of 90-degree days in the Pacific Northwest and 100-degree days plus humidity in the South, we're finding that we've had to adjust to keep our dogs cool and safe.

Protecting our Dogs from Fleas and Ticks

Thanks to our seasons, we only find ourselves facing fleas and ticks for three seasons out of the year, and I'm able to use natural products to protect my dogs (and ourselves). Still, Cathy isn't so lucky in the South and has had to lean on prescription medication to protect her dogs.

Raising Senior Dogs

Cathy has a 12-year-old dog and I have an 11-year-old dog. We've started to notice the change – our dogs are slowing down, and we're adjusting accordingly.

Unfortunately I cannot listen to podcasts as my internet is limited (this is my choice as I choose not to have 5g for myself or anywhere near my pets) so I will miss your fun podcasts.
