Runyon Pet Beds by Brentwood Homes

I am a sucker for dog beds and as a blogger, I receive opportunities to review dog beds all the time and it feeds an obsessio I have for dog beds – there are three in our living room, five in our home.

Years ago, I was looking for an orthopedic pet bed and I was stunned by the poor quality beds on the market.  You would think that with the prices they were charging, I'd want to sleep on these beds, but they were crap!  It became a mission to find quality dog beds because two of our dogs have arthritis.  I even made two beds when we grew to a four dog home.

Oops, did I saw we have five in our home – we have ten dog beds.  As you can imagine, the pet bed obsession has quickly gotten out of control and my boyfriend created a new rule – for every dog bed that arrives, one needs to leave.

Fine! Be that way!!!

When I received an email from Brentwood Homes offering to send us a dog bed – anyone that I wanted – I quietly clapped my hands like Dr. Evil and whispered “wonderfulllll.”  Scout was getting a new dog bed.

Well, that was the plan.

The Runyan Pet Bed arrived shortly after I agreed to the review.  It was rolled and wrapped tightly in a box; it took no time to set it up (open the box, remove wrapping, lay on the floor), and while Scout was sniffing those high quality, non-toxic materials used to make his gorgeous new bed, Zoey pounced and immediately flopped down.  She wouldn't get off of the bed that first night.  She ignored Scout's barking, she turned down dog treats – apparently, this was now HER comfortable dog bed.

I'm currently working on a proper review with pros, cons, and everything in between to be published next week, but for now, I want to announce an opportunity for my readers to win an orthopedic dog bed for their pup.
