Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI)

Our Journey with Rodrigo

In the fall of 2019, after nearly 10 years of digestive issues, Rodrigo was diagnosed with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.  His system didn't naturally produce digestive enzymes, and if left untreated, he would starve to death.  Thankfully, there is an easy solution to this condition.  I provided the enzymes his pancreas wasn't producing.

Along with your veterinarian, you'll probably want a support group (linked below). Rodrigo lived well to 13-1/2 years old.
