We are lucky to live in a time when people are exploring how to raise dogs naturally.  We're fed up with losing our dogs and we're ready to tip the odds in their favor.  What blows is that not everyone in the veterinarian community is willing to jump on board.  Instead, they still stick to the old ways, ways that led us to a time when 50% of our dogs are diagnosed with cancer with little hope of a cure.

Why I Bought The Dog Cancer Series

My dogs are healthy but I still purchased a copy of The Dog Cancer Series because the last I heard, 50% of dogs would develop some form of cancer in their lives.  I have four dogs and according to those numbers, two of my dogs will develop cancer.  There are so many things that are stacked against us that it's easy to give up.  American's have accepted that dogs live a short life and it doesn't have to be this way.  While raw feeding doesn't prevent cancer, we're beginning to learn the impact of feeding a healthier diet of fresh food to our dogs.

The raw feeding community is growing as more dog parents strive to learn how to feed a species appropriate diet to their best friend.  But a change in diet isn't the only step we need to take and The Dog Cancer Series provides the tools we need to create a healthy environment to give us a better chance of preventing cancer.  We'll also learn the steps we can take should we get the heartbreaking diagnoses.
