Raw Food Meal Plan for My Dogs

Benefits of a Raw Food Meal Plan

A meal plan is a scheduled menu of what I feed my dogs each day of the week, including supplements and other fresh foods.

  • It helps keep my dog with protein intolerances and digestive issues on track.
  • It helps identify any new intolerances because I can track their poop and other reactions to their meals.
  • It helps me remember which supplements to add so that my dogs get everything they need in a week.
  • It makes it easy to balance my dogs' raw diet over time.
  • It makes organizing my raw food orders easier; I always know what I need.
  • It is easier to feed all of my dogs the same meal (with rare exceptions).

Sunday

On the weekends during the Spring and Summer, I feed the dogs whole raw for dinner; duck frames are their favorites.  I also feed them recreational bones (beef or buffalo knuckle bones, lamb necks) midday and decrease the amount I feed them for dinner.  In the Winter, I split Canine System Saver into two meals daily for Sydney.
